Gold Mining and Processing
The Zambian Government, has since the year 2020, tasked us with the mandate to develop tenements into fully operational gold and other precious mineral mines. During the same year, we were given the responsibility to develop and formalise operations at Kasenseli Gold Mine in Mwinilunga District. Since then, we have been conducting trial mining and processing activities with a focus on validating the inferred resource.
About KaSEnseli Gold Mine
Kasenseli Gold Mine is located approximately 25 kilometres (KM) from Mwinilunga Central Business District (CBD) and 892 KM from Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia.
The Mine has four pits with pit 2 being the most active. The method of mining currently being used is the conventional open pit, with machinery mainly consisting of excavators and articulated dump trucks (ADT).
We are currently using the gravity concentration method to process gold, which is one of the safest ways of recovering gold as opposed to chemical methods that are usually harmful to the environment. The Company is also exploring the use of other environmentally friendly and efficient ways of recovering gold in order to increase production.
