Education key to socio-economic development
Delivering his speech yesterday at the handover ceremony of 160 desks and building materials to Mwinilunga District Education Board, ZGCL Project Manager Mr. Charles Mjumphi said education is key to both personal and national economic development.
He said ignoring the personal and economic development dimension of education would endanger the prosperity of our country, with grave consequences on poverty, social exclusion, and employment levels.
The items donated will be distributed to schools in Kanogensha and Chibwika chiefdoms, where access to quality education facilities has been a challenge.
